1500 jobs to build it, 450 good pay - long term jobs, not to mention the unmeasurable knock on financial benefits for Shetland, Aberdeenshire and the entire UK economy.

Every barrel of oil produced will have 75% tax on it for the benefit of the entire country. Far more than other businesses pay.

Most of the oil will go in to the international marketplace. However, you don't know what is coming over the horizon. Better we have access to more of our own oil should conditions change again in the future.

Couple of Tories banging on about green stuff, giving a half hearted request to reconsider. Trying to keep the greener voters subdued.

  What do the green people expect? I would have respect for them if they lived in a one room house without electricity or gas and cycled to work every day. But, back to reality, they need oil and lots of it, so lets manage that then, instead of this lefty madness!
