Oil price volatile due to demand supply debate
After a previous day of gains in the oil price, and gains earlier in the day, we saw a fall yesterday.
The agreement within the Opec+ group, to curb supply was not enough to stabilize prices.
There isn't unanimous agreement within the group and this is making markets less confident.
Demand is weakening, by how much is up for debate? Slowing supplies should help the price but the agreement is for voluntary compliance. In effect, some members are not keen to comply.
