Just stop oil is an organisation that conduct disruptive protests in the name of discouraging oil use.
Have they reduced their energy use by taking a job closer to home for example. Or, improving home insulation and energy efficiency? How about switching to electric vehicles?
Are they taking fewer flights? Perhaps sacrificing the desire to take an international holiday.
Have they replaced their gas central heating with electric systems such as heat pumps?
How about their food? Reducing meat consumption and only eating more locally produced food. Buy produce with less plastic packaging?
Do they buy expensive industrial grade home appliances that will last much longer? When they break they are repaired rather than replaced.
Buy natural fibre clothes made locally, at many times the price. Get clothes and footwear repaired rather than replaced.
Or is it just the stop oil protests thing that you do?
They are as much a part of the problem as everyone else. Except everyone else does not then go disrupting others in a botched attempt to fix the wrongs that we are all doing.
